We have this PA50SD landed at yNot last week.
This machine has plenty of pretty interesting features, it was indeed an upgraded version of the previous PA-50 where in these SD version, an SD card slot has substituted previous floppy disk drive which is definitely out dated.
It has the Triton sound with 62 voices, over 660 high-quality factory programs (including GM level 2 programs), and over 300 musical styles (256 factory + 48 user), 89 on board effects.
What has really impressed me is it has combined the complicated pro-arranger synth/sound modules and beginner/performer press and play or jam along features. Hence, it is cater for pro arranger as well as live performer
See the start/stop button below the LCD screen??

The only down side i can think on is: you need another midi interface to direct link to PC should you need to work real time on soft synth or recording software, despite the existence of SD card. The SD card is solely for storage and transferring of files.
The price is tempting, listed RM2965. Come to our place to try it out, price wise can nego kau kau..haha..
