Used D Marzio Pickup in pair letting go at good price

We got this pair of used DiMarzio Pickup to let go. <

As you can see in the above image, both come with metal case, but the top (neck pickup) is without the ring.

Both pickup is made in US, unfortunately we don't have the information for the neck pickup.

On the other hand, the bridge pickup are The Tone Zone DP155, high power stuff.

The official cover write up is as following:"Have you ever heard a bridge pickup that made a guitar sound like a giant mosquito attack? If you’ve run into this problem, The Tone Zone® is the solution. The Tone Zone® is hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but it has a wider dynamic range — hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter. It’s got tremendous bass and low-mid response to reinforce the bottom end and make the overall sound bigger. The highest single notes have depth, and chords sound huge. Patented dual-resonance coils reproduce more overtones than you’d expect from such a fat-sounding pickup. It makes a great match with an Air Norton™, PAF Joe™, or PAF Pro®, and split-coil mode produces an excellent single-coil sound as well.".

This is letting go in pair at RM400. Which is about the price for a brand new single unit.

The AKG Austrio Black Bro

Hi guys, i wish to introduce to you 2 new members to our mic family. The AKG AUSTRIO BLACK BRO.

Well, they are actually with us for almost a year, it is just I am so busy with project and get no time to post this lovely pic to our blog. Both of them come from Austria, an old and pristine collection of yNot Music Studio instead of buying the newly manufacture from China.

The big bro is the short fatty at the right. His name is AKG D112. Though he look odd, he is pretty famous and popular in the studio of the world to assist in picking bass sound, for instant, drum kick, bass cab and other bass tone.
With its distinctive egg shape, the AKG D112 has become one of the most popular kick drum microphones ever made. A descendent of the earlier D12 dynamic microphone, AKG set about engineering a tougher and more modern sounding kick drum mic with a specially engineered diaphragm to create a solid and powerful response below 100 Hz and a narrow band presence rise at 4 kHz to help the kick punch through dense mixes with little or no added EQ. It's a large diaphragm cardioid dynamic with a built in pop shield and can handle up to 160 dB SPL with no audible distortion making it good for other instruments such and the bass and brass instruments like the trombone.

The little brother is at left, tall and skinny. His name is AKG C1000s, made in Austria as well. His is a multi purpose condenser mic. We was hung for a mic to replace SM57 on snare, finally when we found him, we search no more. Now he is widely use in yNot for guitar, amps, snare, violin, flute and other instruments tracking.

R.I.P Abang Din-The Penang Guitar Luthier

We are sad to be informed that our old friend, Aband Din that work at Art Tune has passed away after a battle with cancer. Abang Din played in the old school Band Crosstown many many years ago. He is well known for servicing and repairing guitars. Most of the guitarist handed their beloved axe to him only for all the works. I would say he is the most reliable guitar Luthier in Penang.
